Anu first met Scott and his parents at the time of Scott's diagnosis with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Throughout Scott's journey through his cancer diagnosis and relapse, Anu was always struck by the Kienhofer family's togetherness, positivity, and ability to find the best in each moment, no matter how difficult those moments were. This Foundation embodies those traits and spirit that were so clearly present in Scott.
