MESSAGE FROM SCOTTIE'S MOM

Brig-31_edited.jpg

Cancer sucks. There is no arguing that. But, when it strikes an innocent child it is beyond devastating and unfair. On April 30th, 2017, Scott was your typical high school junior. He hung out with friends, ate too much Taco Bell and occasionally snuck out of the house in the middle of the night! The next evening, at 5pm, everything changed. Our world became filled with chemo, radiation, months spent in the hospital, ER visits, bald heads, puffy cheeks, fevers and upset stomachs. But there were bright spots within this darkness, thanks to the outpouring of love from our community, friends and family. The most important thing is that Scott felt this love.

Every child battling cancer deserves to feel extra love. Scott knew that.

As Scott’s mother, I am honored to bring to life his vision of bringing love and joy to kids that have been recently diagnosed with cancer in the Bay Area.
