About the event
Chris and Carolyn will be married October 12 in Moraga CA. They have both been profoundly affected by cancer in their families. As a result, they have become passionate supporters of Scottie's Gift Foundation, a remarkable organization dedicated to bringing love, joy, and comfort to newly diagnosed pediatric cancer patients. They ask that in lieu of gifts their guests please consider making a donation to Scotties Gift Foundation.
Scottie's Gift Foundation creates personalized gift baskets for these brave young hero’s and their families, providing much-needed support during a challenging time. The foundation works with UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital San Francisco, ensuring that children receiving treatment at these hospitals receive a basket filled with thoughtful and comforting items such as an iPad, homemade blanket, books and age-appropriate toys.
